Annual and Monthly Financial Information for 2019 / 2020
The financial year runs from April 1st until 31st March of the next year.
Hawthorn Parish Council is funded directly through a precept collected via the Council Tax on the residents of Hawthorn. The precept for 2019/2020 is £8,672 representing a Band D Council Tax of £42.06
The expenditure for the Parish Council includes the salary of the Parish Clerk, grants and donations to local groups, local events and general maintenance of the open spaces and play area.
All financial information for 2019 / 2020 will be added during the financial year.
These are updated each month after being approved for payment by the Parish Council at their monthly meeting.

The Annual Return has now been replaced by the AGAR (Annual Governance and Accountability Return.) The accounts continue to be audited by the Internal Auditor but as the Parish Council has neither income nor expenditure over £25,000 it has certified the council as exempt from a limited assurance review under Section 9 of the Local Audit (Smaller Authorities) Regulations 2015.
